Evidence-Based Eating Disorder Support at Garden Room Therapy

At Garden Room Therapy, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for those struggling with eating disorders. Logan, our primary ED therapist, is fully BACP accredited, trained to Master’s level (Level 7), has lived experience of an ED, and has managed an ED service. When you choose your therapy, you deserve a therapist who can navigate your concerns not only with safety, but with competence, developed through years of experience.

Our Results

We measure our success through an evidence-based approach. Over the past 12 months, we have worked with over 30 clients, offered 10 sessions. Using NHS-recognised recovery baselines, we track progress with key measures:

    • PHQ-9 (depression symptoms): <10

    • GAD-7 (anxiety symptoms): <10 

    • EDE-Q Global (eating disorder cognitions): <2.6 (recovery range)

    • CIA (eating disorder behaviours): <16 (recovery range)

Following analysis’ of our results show significant improvements in all domains, with reductions in eating disorder symptoms, anxiety, and low mood. Below is a snapshot of these changes:
