At Garden Room Therapy, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for those struggling with eating disorders. Our ED therapist is fully BACP accredited, trained to Master’s level (Level 7), has lived experience of an ED, has clinically lead an ED service, and grounded in a robust clinical foundation. We measure our success through an evidence-based approach. Over the past 12 months, we have worked with over 30 clients, typically completing 10 sessions. Using NHS-recognised recovery baselines, we track progress with key measure

    • PHQ-9 (depression symptoms): <10 (sub-threshold)

    • GAD-7 (anxiety symptoms): <10 (sub-threshold)

    • EDE-Q Global (eating disorder cognitions): <2.6 (recovery range)

    • CIA (eating disorder behaviours): <16 (recovery range)

Our data show significant improvements in all domains, with reductions in eating disorder symptoms, anxiety, and low mood. Below is a snapshot of these changes:
