Therapy can help with a wide range of issues related to your mental health, identity, and patterns you might feel stuck in in your life – but we do have a number of specialisations within our service.
Logan is an expert at supporting eating disorder recovery, with four years experience and over a thousand hours working with clients suffering with anorexia, bulimia, ARFID, binge eating disorder, OSFED and orthorexia. He also has eighteen months experience working within a rehabilitation facility to support individuals recovering from addictions and substance misuse disorders.
Keeley has experience working in domestic abuse services and is passionate about helping individuals struggling with attachment wounds to begin to feel secure in intimate relationships. She also has particular experience with trauma and PTSD from three years of working with individuals who have experienced human trafficking, and one year of experience working with families and parental support.
That’s an important question, but the truth is, there’s no perfect way to be “ready” for therapy. You don’t need to have all the answers, a clear goal, or even know exactly what’s wrong. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, curious about yourself, or simply wondering if life could feel a bit better, that’s enough. Therapy is a space where you can explore things at your own pace, with support—not pressure. During the assessment and throughout the therapy process, we’ll work together to better understand what’s important to you—your hopes, your goals, and what you might want life to feel like moving forward.
We offer therapy on a sliding scale, from £25 to £45.
We suggest that sessions with Logan, our senior practitioner, cost £45 as a standard rate, but if we believe you would be better matched with Logan but cannot afford this rate, we will do our best to negotiate a more affordable fee.
We offer in person sessions in Cromford, Derbyshire, located in a Garden Room attached to a residential property. We also rent rooms in Sheffield City, Yorkshire. We also offer online therapy across the country.
You can get in touch via email at [email protected] or use the contact form on our website. We’ll arrange a time to chat and set up an initial assessment.
This is different for everyone. Some people come for a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term work. We’ll check in regularly about how things are going and what feels right for you.
Therapy looks different for different clients, but generally it is a space for you to explore what is going on for you and search for the origins of some of your current struggles.
In your first session, you’ll meet with your therapist and talk about what’s brought you to therapy, what your life looks like currently, and explore your hopes and needs. You can ask any questions, and there’s no pressure to share more than you feel ready to.
As you and your therapist becomes stronger, they may begin to challenge you or explore in more depth, which can be emotional. This will happen only at your pace – You are the expert in the therapy room, and your therapist is there to support you.
We are ICO registered, and protect your data in line with our responsibilities in accordance with UK data protection regulations. All data we collect about you upon starting therapy will be stored securely on our internal systems. You can ask for access to this data, and deletion upon leaving therapy. We hope you will always feel our therapy service is helpful and appropriate for you, and if you ever feel unhappy with any part of your therapy experience, we really encourage you to bring it up with your therapist. You’re always welcome to raise concerns directly, and we’ll do our best to listen and address them together with care and openness. If you don’t feel comfortable speaking directly, or if you feel your concern hasn’t been resolved, you can also raise a complaint with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), our professional body. As BACP members, we adhere to their Ethical Framework and complaints procedure, which is there to protect your rights and ensure professional standards are upheld. You can learn more at www.bacp.co.uk.
Most people attend therapy weekly, but this can vary depending on your needs and availability. We’ll discuss what works best for you together.
We offer integrative therapy, drawing from approaches like person-centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), attachment-based therapy, and compassion-focused therapy. This means we tailor the work to suit your individual needs.
Yes, confidentiality is a vital part of therapy. What you share stays between us, with a few legal exceptions (such as if there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else). We’ll go over this fully in your first session and it will also be explained within the contract you sign.
